Portfolio Commentary

Quite a bit of trading activities today in both Equities and ETFs portfolio. For instance, we went long WFC today after a strong bullish candle yesterday closing back above major swing point, adding to a growing list of financial names. We also added NFLX for a momentum play after some key bullish technical developments. In ETFs, our signal picked up long on IYR for a quick relief rally as we believe the selloff maybe overdone.

Chart in Focus

WFC  –  Short-Term Long

Target: 48

Entry Point(s): 44.99

Comments:  As discussed earlier, WFC had a very strong bullish candle which not only broke through steep descending trend but also closed back above Feb and June double bottom.

AIV  – Short-Term Short

Target: 40

Entry Point(s): 42.5, 43

Comments: After a wild rollercoaster ride, broke through key support area without being oversold yet. More downside likely until next swing point of 40.
